Because of your support we were able to raise
$4310 to benefit Journey Forward.
As for the race we had a couple speedsters
in Mike & Lisa at:
Mike: 2:11:09 Lisa:
2:23:13
Now, John and Brett had some injuries and
lack of training to overcome. However they
both finished:

Your
support is what makes our program possible.
As for our runners, they will be looking to improve
their totals and times for next year’s event.

Lisa:
Lisa has never ran more then a few feet at
a time in her life. The only reason she is
doing this half marathon is to look good in
a bikini on her cruise. Her hobbies include
collecting New Kids on The Block memorabilia
and watching old war movies. Please support
this runner because she doesn't want to be
beat by all the guys! Races aren't won on
the track, they are won by the amount of money
you are willing to donate!

Mike:
Mike was always a sprinter...period!
His desire to run is strictly to fit into
European clothing that is not made for athletic
people. His hobbies are jigsaw puzzles, and
collecting G.I. Joe action figures...oh yeah
and step counting. Please support this runner
because his ego really can't take losing to
Brett. Mike is currently training for the
race, and counts every step he runs. He requests
that you try it one day!

John:
John is a former colligate athlete
turned weekend warrior that has not run further
that to the fridge and back in over 5 years.
His hobbies include watching da Celts, da
Pats, and da Sox. Please support John the
only true Boston Fan running in the group,
by sponsoring him and representing Boston,
MA. John would also like to invite all of
his sponsors to victory lane at Fenway Park
after the race for a cold one. GO SOX!!

Brett:
Brett is a phenomenal runner and can
run faster then most children under the age
of 6. His hobbies include eating competitions,
collecting hotel shampoo, and knitting. Please
support this runner because his ego really
can't take the hit of losing this contest.
When asked about his training regiment he
said, "I train hard, I've been visualizing
myself running and man I look good. Plus we
all know 90% of running is half mental."
